  • For incoming power supply panels, in buildings with lightning protection system. Must be accompanied by downstream SPD
  • For distribution panels located downstream of Type 1 protectors or in incoming supply panels in areas of low exposure to lightning strikes, where the building is not fitted with lightning protection system
  • Always installed downstream of Type 2 protection designed to protect sensitive equipment or equipment located more than 20m downstream of Type 2 SPD
